You’ll work remotely, manage your own time, and have full flexibility while growing a meaningful recruitment business. We are expanding our Talk branch in the Wellington region, and this role has become available to support that growth. You will need to be Wellington-based, so you can visit and service centres and candidates. What an exciting time to join us! Area Manager – Wellington Region
About the Role
Customer Care & Relationship Building
Daily communication with clients and educators
Supporting centres with quality relievers, filling short and long-term bookings
Handling queries with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
Book & Fill
Morning coordination (6 : 30 am – 10 : 30 am), home-based
Evening coordination from home (approx. 6 : 30 pm – 8 pm, depending on demand)
Daytime hours are flexible and largely on‑call for tasks as they arise
No two days are the same in our fast‑paced industry!
Business Development
Meeting with centres to grow your client base
Cold calling required, reaching out to centres to educate them about agency benefits
Long‑term potential to develop a substantial recruitment portfolio

About You
You are :
Ambitious, motivated, energetic, and self‑driven
Experienced in education (ECE experience highly preferred—previous Centre Managers or 2ICs are ideal!)
Confident on the phone with excellent communication skills
Tech‑savvy and quick to learn new systems
Empathetic, but able to be assertive and clear when required
Skilled at relationships and client care
Comfortable travelling locally and hold a valid driver’s licence
Currently living in New Zealand with the right to work
