We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable teacher of commerce with the ability to teach accounting and business studies up to NCEA Level 3 . This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative and future‑focused Commerce learning area, supporting students to develop financial capability, enterprise skills, and real‑world business understanding.

A successful candidate will demonstrate :

• Expertise in accounting and b usiness studies to NCEA Level 3
• Experience and ability to work with and support Māori and Pacific ākonga
• A collaborative approach to teaching and learning across curriculum areas
• The ability to build strong, positive relationships with ākonga , whānau , and colleagues
• A commitment to the development of literacy and numeracy within a subject context
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A developing understanding of Mātauranga Māori and its relevance across commerce subjects
• A desire to honour obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi

All members of our teaching staff also serve as learning advisors , supporting students in their academic and personal growth.
