Are you interested in working in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand near the iconic Lake Pukaki, engaging in meaningful work that helps protect the environment? We are located on a high country station in the Mackenzie country near Lake Pukaki and the Ben Ohau mountain range, only 35 minutes from Mt Cook national park.

Roles

• Wilding pine removal program – cut out small wilding pine seedlings using loppers, working at a quick pace to complete the job efficiently and safely.
• Occasional work on the organic lavender farm when available.
• Clean rental accommodation (house cleaning).

What we provide

As an organic property we do not use harmful chemicals or pesticides for weed control – hand tools are provided along with training, health & safety guidance. Short‑term work is acceptable.

Accommodation : our staff accommodation is currently full, but a freedom campground only 5 minutes away offers toilets and hot showers, ideal for self‑contained campervans. We provide access to hot showers and other amenities.
