ABOUT THE SOFTWARE TEAM AT ROCKET LAB :

The Software teams at Rocket Lab cater to unique business needs that encompass the support, maintenance, and expansion of crucial systems such as the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for building rockets and satellites, as well as developing Mission Control applications and telemetry and telecommand platforms essential for their operation.

A typical day consists of collaborating with avionics and manufacturing engineers to develop, improve and support software-applications to functionally test spacecraft-components and systems for our launch vehicles (Electron, Neutron) and Space-System programs.

Software Engineer II - Business Automation (Flame)

Role location : Auckland site

As a Software Engineer II – Business Automation (Flame) based at Rocket Lab's site in Auckland, you will have the opportunity to support with software applications that are critical for business operations globally.

In this role you will work on developing the full stack software applications and collaborate with stakeholders across different business domains.

To be successful in this role, you must have extensive Full Stack Software experience.

You'll bring these qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering

Extensive Full Stack Software Engineering experience cultivated through a minimum of 3 years professional experience developing software.

Demonstratable skill using C# and Typescript

Operational Knowledge of

Angular or another frontend framework

Net or another Backend framework

Git

SQL

HTML / CSS

These qualifications would be nice to have

Experience with specific tools and technologies
