About the Role

We’re now looking for a Senior Project Manager who wants to be part of this journey, helping deliver innovative plant solutions that shape the future of construction.
The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of major quarry plant and crushing / screening infrastructure projects. While the Engineering Manager leads the design process, this role will be responsible for identifying customer needs , design verification , procurement, offshore fabrication, logistics, site installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of our plant products .
Our quarry plants are a core product line, and each project is an opportunity to improve how we build them — reducing cost, shortening build time, and increasing efficiency. We are looking for someone who naturally identifies inefficiencies, improves processes, and drives repeatable, scalable project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fabrication through to commissioning
- Lead project delivery from fabrication and procurement through to logistics, installation and commissioning.
- Manage procurement, tendering, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Plan and manage construction and installation activities, including mechanical assembly, electrical installation, and site safety.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and commissioning teams.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and reporting.
- Compliance, quality control and progress tracking
- Review engineering design output to ensure constructability, practicality, and alignment with standard plant design principles and customer needs.
- Oversee offshore fabrication, quality control, inspections, and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with NZ / AU safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage international logistics, freight, customs, and delivery coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement across all builds , capturing lessons learned and feeding them back into design, fabrication, and installation processes.
- Maintain up-to-date reporting on costs and time schedule and provide regular reports on project progress.
- Analyse project performance (time, cost, quality) and implement methods to reduce lead times and improve repeatability.
- Develop standardised installation methodologies and templates for future projects.
Skills & Experience
10+ years’ experience managing large industrial, quarry, mining, or mechanical installation projects.Demonstrated experience with offshore fabrication and international procurement.Strong site management capability and understanding of practical construction methodologies.Proven ability to implement continuous improvement, process refinement, or lean project delivery.Strong communication, commercial acumen, and contractor management skills.Relevant engineering or project management qualifications would be useful.What We Offer
