About the Role

We’re seeking experienced Welder / Fabricators to join our team in Wellington. This role is perfect for individuals who are confident working with a range of welding methods and both light and heavy fabrication work.

We’re especially interested in those who can work across MIG, TIG and ARC welding, as well as various metals (such as stainless steel) and fabrication types.

Tackle a wide range of welding and fabrication projects across the Wellington and Lower North Island region.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and fabrication across diverse projects and materials.
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use a range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG and ARC.
• Prepare and work with various metal stocks for fabrication.
• Perform both light and heavy fabrication work, including shaping, bending and assembly.
• Work with structural and non-structural metals, including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum.
• Examine and finish welds to meet high-quality standards.
• Join components through welding, bolting, or riveting as needed.
