We’re looking for a self‑motivated Business Development Manager who enjoys meeting people, building great relationships, and finding practical solutions that make a real difference.

Safety ‘n Action is New Zealand’s largest provider of health and safety training and advisory services — a Category One PTE with a strong reputation and long‑standing partnerships across the South. We already work with some of the region’s best‑known businesses, and we’re ready to grow that even further.

About the Role

You’ll be the local face of Safety ‘n Action, connecting with businesses from Queenstown to Invercargill, Dunedin to Oamaru. You’ll work independently day‑to‑day, supported by our nationwide sales team and local trainers who share your commitment to keeping people safe at work.

It’s a role where you’ll enjoy plenty of variety — one day you might be talking with a major employer, the next with a small trade or service business keen to upskill their crew.

What You’ll Bring

• Existing network across Otago and the lower South, especially with medium to large employers
• Strong relationship‑building skills and genuine interest in people
• Self‑motivation and the confidence to work independently
• Enjoyment of working alongside trainers and clients from hands‑on industries
• CRM experience (handy but not essential)
• A full NZ driver licence and willingness to travel
• Energy, initiative, and a results‑focused mindset
