Ta matou arawatea | Our Opportunity : In this role, you will report directly to the Cyber Security Manager and lead a team of three Security Analysts within the Security Operations domain.

Your responsibilities will encompass driving Mercury's evolution toward a proactive, intelligence-driven Security Operations Center leveraging automation, AI / ML, and advanced analytics.

You'll architect next-generation detection, investigation, and response capabilities while ensuring the highest standards of protection for our critical energy infrastructure.

Tau e mahi ai | What you'll be doing : Collaborate with various teams to provide technical leadership and guidance for monitoring and responding to incidents, enforcing policies and conducting risk assessments.

Provide leadership to your team, including providing opportunities for ongoing development in a learning culture.

Lead the implementation of integrated security stack (SIEM, SOAR, EDR) and develop automated incident response playbooks for common threats including ransomware and OT / ICS-specific incidents.

Establish threat hunting programs using MITRE ATT
