Junior Treasury Accountant - fixed term maternity cover

Overview

As the Junior Treasury Accountant, you’ll step into a dynamic finance environment where you’ll support the day-to-day treasury operations of Westland Milk Products and Oceania Dairy. This fixed-term maternity cover role until February 2027, based in Christchurch, is a fantastic opportunity to build your skills and confidence in a real-world setting.

Responsibilities

• From daily cash monitoring and bank reconciliations to forecasting, reporting, and supporting accounts receivable, you’ll be exposed to a broad range of financial activities.
• You’ll contribute to process improvements and gain insight into FX contract management and treasury systems.
• Learn from experienced professionals and grow your understanding of financial operations in a global business.

You’re early in your finance career—perhaps fresh out of university or with some relevant experience under your belt—and you’re ready to take on a role that will challenge and grow your capabilities. You bring a proven ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
