Senior Protection Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering & Design Manager, you will be pivotal in the design and development of our network protection systems, as well as aspects of automation and data communications. In this role you will :

• Provide design expertise on new build and brown-field substations and distribution projects, technology innovations, and solution studies.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, undertake fault investigations, and offer engineering support to other business teams.
• Lead and review designs, develop, and support our protection, automation, and communications systems.
• Take a Project Engineer role on key projects.
• Maintain high quality technical specifications and standards.
• Drive improvements in business processes, network operation, equipment functionality, and safety.
