Playcentre Aotearoa, a well‑known early childhood organization, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic session facilitator to join Tirau Playcentre in Waikato.

The position is permanent and part‑time (10.5 hrs a week) during the school term. Start date 27 January 2026 (negotiable).

Responsibilities

You will work alongside members and tamariki to guide session activities, facilitate learning using child‑led play and positive guidance, support planning and assessment for learning, and positively support the Playcentre education programme.

Ideal candidate

• Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher, or an early childhood qualification Level 4 or higher.
• Hold a current first‑aid certificate or be willing to achieve one.

Applicant must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
