$65.00 / hr - $75.00 / hr

Position : Chemistry PhD
Type : Contractor
Compensation : $65–$75 / hour
Location : Remote
Commitment : 15–20 hours / week

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts in Chemistry.

Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.

Shape the future of AI innovation by contributing domain expertise.

Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.

Elevate the quality of AI model training through expert feedback.

Qualifications

Must-Have

Master's or PhD in Chemistry from a top US university.

Experience coding in Python and R.

Field-specific experience in Quantum Chemistry or Computational Chemistry.

High attention to detail.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent proficiency in English.

Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.

Start Date

Late December; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding time including the screening process and onboarding videos if hired.

Compensation & Legal

Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.

Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
