About the business

Bayleys is New Zealand's largest residential, commercial and industrial real estate agency. It's the only significant national real estate business in this sector that is Kiwi owned and operated. The Bayleys Residential Kapiti team consist of 4 residential agents and 2 commercial agents.

With one of our administrators going on leave for approximately 7 months, we are seeking temporary cover during this time, starting from mid‑January 2026 until mid‑July. The role is part‑time, working 20 hours per week (9 : 30am to 3pm) Tuesday to Friday.

About the role

Our ideal applicant will have prior experience in an administrative role; experience in the real estate industry is advantageous but not essential. They should possess excellent time‑management skills, be flexible, and demonstrate strong teamwork abilities with a keen attention to detail.

The Administrator role will be responsible for, amongst other things :

  • Answering telephones, email enquiries, greeting clients and general management of day‑to‑day office requirements
  • Providing excellent customer service to our sales consultants
  • Processing listings and ensuring property marketing campaigns are booked and completed as per timeframes and requirements outlined
  • Liaising with our accounts team and solicitors on deal requirements as needed
  • Database entry and contact management for sales consultants
  • Providing administration support to the sales consultants
