Class 5 Driver- Hamilton (Intermodal) Am Shift

Routes : Hamilton region with occasional trips to Auckland or Tauranga.

Locations : Based out of our site in Rukuhia.

Hours : min 40 hours per week, full-time permanent positions.

AM shift (5am start).

What you'll do : Operate a Class 5 Container Truck for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery to multiple sites across Hamilton.

Build strong relationships with our customers with friendly service.

Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.

Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.

Comply with all company / site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.

Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What you will bring to the team : A valid Clean Class 5 Licence and Swing Lift certificate highly desirable.

A minimum of 2 years' recent experience operating Class 5 Skeletal Trailer Truck transporting containers is essential.

Experience in Multidrop deliveries with a proven ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Experience with Skully Tipping, Swinglift, Truck Trailer, Container Trailers is highly desirable.

Sound knowledge of the Auckland / Tauranga Ports and Hamilton region.

Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.

Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
