Surgery Registrars - Wellington region, New Zealand - 2025 start

The Position

Permanent Surgical Registrar positions commencing immediately or from August 2025.

You will be based in the Wellington region and rotate between 2 hospitals. The service has gaps in Orthopaedics and General Surgery but other Runs might be available in Vascular; Paediatric Surgery, Cardiothoracic; Neurosurgery; Urology; Otolaryngology; Plastics. General Surgery covers Colorectal, Endocrine, Breast and Upper-Gastrointestinal surgery.

Essential Criteria

• experience of at least 2 years within a comparable health service such as UK, Ireland, Canada, USA
• eligible for registration with the MCNZ
• available to start in 2025

The Package

Salary will depend on the Run allocated, relocation allowance will be available along with visa nomination.
