Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee National Quantum Computing Hub (NQCH) project management and deliverables. This role will serve as a central point of contact for project coordination, communication, and alignment between project partners.
Industry Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners across various sectors looking to explore quantum computing.
- Engage industry needs and translate them into opportunities for research collaboration or use‑case exploration.
- Organise and manage engagement activities such as roundtables, workshops, networking events, and industry consultations.
Project Planning & Execution
Drive end‑to‑end project management for National Quantum Computing Hub (NQCH) programmes involving industry partners, including scoping, timeline planning, budgeting, and reporting.Coordinate cross‑functional teams : researchers, talent development units, operations, and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.Track project progress and produce periodic updates, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.Ensure compliance with organisational processes, grant requirements, and administrative workflows.Operations & Administrative Management
Oversee day‑to‑day hub operations and core administrative functions, including HR coordination, budgeting, procurement support, and resolving operational issues.Provide operational support for programmes, events, meetings, facility usage, and stakeholder engagements to ensure smooth and efficient hub activities.Qualifications
Masters degree in a relevant field (Physics, Engineering, Computer Science) with a strong foundation in quantum technologies.A Ph.D. in relevant fields with a strong foundation in quantum technologies is preferred.Demonstrated experience in project management, industry engagement, partnership development, or ecosystem‑building roles.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong organisational ability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.Proactive and ready to take on hands‑on responsibilities where required.Spoken and written English : ability to understand and speak the language in professional contexts. Ability to draw‑up technical specifications and / or scientific reports and to make oral presentations.More Information
