Service Foods Waikato is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
Location : Te Rapa, Hamilton
Hours : Up to 30 hours / week (Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM, any 3 days / week)
Start Date : Immediate
Employment Type : Permanent, Part-Time
About the Role :
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers — managing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
You'll use Salesforce (CRM) and Sage (ERP) systems to maintain accurate records and support seamless operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service through prompt and accurate order processing and communication
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting sales and data accuracy
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and online channels
Enter and manage customer orders in Sage (ERP) and update records in Salesforce (CRM)
Monitor and manage customer backorders to ensure timely delivery
Identify and pursue sales opportunities to support revenue growth
Follow up on customer queries, complaints, and requests, coordinating with internal teams for resolution

Key Attributes :
Professional phone manner and strong communication skills
Experience in customer support, call centre, or similar roles
High attention to detail and strong data entry skills
Excellent time management and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (essential); experience with Salesforce and ERP systems (advantageous)
Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and adaptable approach
Reliable transport to and from work
Knowledge of the food services or warehouse industry is a plus
Year 13 or equivalent qualification required
