Mental Health Social Worker

About the Role

Tradewind Australia is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join an organisation providing vital support to individuals, families, and communities.

In this rewarding role, you will deliver high-level case management, counselling, and advocacy services to clients with complex needs.

You'll also play a leadership role within the team providing supervision, guidance, and professional mentoring to junior staff while contributing to program development and service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced case management and counselling for clients with complex social and emotional needs.

Develop comprehensive case plans and deliver holistic interventions.

Offer professional supervision and mentoring to other team members.

Lead case conferences and contribute to the development of best-practice models.

Participate in program design, implementation, and evaluation.

Build partnerships with community organisations and advocate for improved client outcomes.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, ethical standards, and organisational policies.

You Will Bring

Degree in Social Work or Counselling

Eligibility for AASW membership or be a member with ACA

Experience in Intake and assessment

3-5 years' experience providing case management and counselling to clients with complex needs.

Demonstrated experience in leadership or supervision within a social services setting.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills.

Experience in program development, evaluation, or community engagement.

Current First Aid and CPR, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and Driver's Licence.
