Academic Staff Member - Foundation Education

We have a permanent part time position in Foundation Pathways for a Kaiako / Tutor to teach on our Level 4 Study and Employment Pathways programme. The role is suitable for either an Academic Staff Member or a Senior Academic Staff Member dependent on skills and experience. The position starts in January 2025 in preparation for teaching in semester 1.

This role is 0.8 FTE and the appointing full-time salary for this role will be between $77,500 - $96,800 per annum dependent on skills and experience.

The kaiako / tutor role is based at Wintec within Te Kura Pūtake Me Ngā Mahi Whakaako, the Centre for Education and Foundation Pathways. You will be part of a team that promotes ākonga centred learning to enable students to pathway with confidence to degree level study or employment. You will be teaching primarily on the Te Tuapapa Hauora Health stream for Māori and Pacific ākonga.
