The Kind Foundation is seeking an experienced, passionate and values-driven early childhood education manager to lead both of our early learning centres – Pūmanawa Papa Hou (central city) and Pūmanawa Bishopdale. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to step into a multi-centre leadership role within a well-respected not-for-profit organisation.
Pūmanawa ELC Bishopdale – community-focused and nurturing. A warm and welcoming centre set in a suburban environment. Known for strong relationships, stability and a caring team, Bishopdale provides a calm and supportive space where tamariki thrive.
Pūmanawa ELC Papa Hou – supporting families living and working in the central city. Set within the energetic Papa Hou building, this creative and diverse centre provides tamariki with holistic learning experiences centred on exploration, community engagement and the wellbeing of mind and body.
The early childhood education manager will provide leadership, compliance oversight and strategic direction across both centres, while guiding and supporting two dedicated teaching teams.
We are looking for someone who is a qualified and registered ECE teacher, with at least 5 years' leadership experience in the sector. They must be passionate about high-quality, child-centred education, skilled in building collaborative, positive team cultures and confident in compliance, documentation, and relationship management.
