Industrial Electrician

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team, maintaining and servicing our northern Tower Crane fleet, along with a range of heavy machinery and plant across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on tower cranes, plant, and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with crane mobilisation, erection, deconstruction, and general set‑up / removal.
• Work at heights, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Use diagnostic software and tools to maintain detailed service records.
• Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and control systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

About You

You’re a skilled Electrician with a NZ Electrical qualification and are registered with the NZ Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). Experience with tower cranes is a plus but not essential. You have strong fault‑finding skills, a solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, and are comfortable working at heights.
