About the role Wahi Oranga is an inpatient rehabilitation unit which offers a recovery-based programme that enables people with mental health issues to live fulfilling lives in the community.

The goals of this multi-disciplinary staffed service are : Provision of a safe and supportive environment to provide extended assessment, treatment and rehabilitation following an admission to the adult acute service Teaching skills to help support illness management and to support consumers to live the life they want to live Support development of structure and meaningful routines Support safe discharge into a community setting Opportunities currently; 1x Fixed term, full-time opportunity until 8th February

About you Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC and mental health scope; An interest in Safewards and training in the Collaborative Problem Solving Approach will be provided; An ability to forge and foster meaningful relationships, whilst treating others with respect, encouragement and support; Adhere to guidelines of Cultural Safety and the Treaty of Waitangi.
