About the role

We’re looking for an epic React Native engineer with a product‑obsessed mindset and the ability to lead‑someone who cares about what we build, and why. This is a rare chance to solve hard mobile problems at scale.

As a lead, you’ll be across our iOS and Android app experience end‑to‑end—TypeScript, React Native, and the native bridges that make it work. You’ll be hands‑on and collaborative; shipping features, improving performance, hardening offline behaviour, and shaping how we work. We care about how you think and act : curious, thoughtful, practical, and someone who takes absolute ownership.

What you’ll do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of core React Native features, including native modules / bridges where it makes sense.
• Bring a strong product lens — you’ll work closely with design and product to make smart trade‑offs and ship high‑impact features fast.
• Use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor) to boost quality and speed without sacrificing readability or tests.
• Drive app performance from every angle — The Halter app has a complex mobile product, understanding of how to tune it is an essential skillset.
• Build resilient offline‑first flows and graceful error handling for real‑world field conditions.
• Evolve our mobile design system and UI patterns.
• Raise the bar through reviews, pairing, and mentoring.
