An Exciting Opportunity to Join Our Over Two's Whānau!

Green Street Early Learning Centre – Mosgiel, South Island

Green Street Early Learning Centre is a community-based not-for-profit Centre. We are currently looking for a passionate teacher to join our 2-5 / 6-year-old House.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality learning environments, a child-led discovery-based curriculum, and homely comfortable inside spaces that allow children to explore, discover, be courageous and adventurous.

We believe that quality relationships are key to everything, which is why we have a strong focus on ensuring our tamariki, whānau, and kaiako develop a sense of whānaungatanga and tūrangawaewae within the Green Street community. We keep to low child : adult ratios and ensure that our children have an unhurried environment to explore and learn through play-based learning.

About You

• Recognises and values the importance of play-based learning and embraces the concept of ako.
• Has initiative, a passion for the early childhood profession, and a great sense of humour.
• Is energetic, fun loving, and enthusiastic.
• Possesses excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Has the ability to effectively and collaboratively work within a supportive team.
