Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Counties Manukau is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join our dynamic teams across a range of subspecialties, including :

• Acute Community Psychiatry
• Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
• Addiction Services
• Psychological Medicine
• Home-Based Treatment Teams

You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams in both community and hospital settings, including Emergency Care at Middlemore Hospital. These roles offer the chance to lead service development, contribute to clinical excellence, and support equity-focused mental health care in a culturally rich and diverse community

Annually, the hospital admits more than 91,000 in-patients, and handle in excess of 354,000 day-patients and outpatient attendances.

The hospital offers secondary-level (hospital and specialist) care, a selected range of community and domiciliary services, and also provides niche specialist tertiary services for regional and national consumers. Internationally, the hospital is known for their work in orthopaedics and spinal injury rehabilitation, as well as being the site of the National Burns Centre.
