Iti is seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and leading our culinary team to deliver high-quality dishes that meet the standards of our establishment.

This is a full-timeposition.

Flexibility is key with the ability to be available for late night and weekend shifts.

The Role

Planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen,maximising efficiency

Managing and supervising all kitchen staff including staff schedules

Collaborating with management on budgeting and cost control measures

Ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes meets company standards

Developing and updating menu items in collaboration with management

Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed

Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, conducting regular inspections

Complying with all health and safety regulations

What you will bring

Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team

In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and menu development

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

A creative approach to menu planning and a passion for delivering high-quality food

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Catering or hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential

Theideal candidate, you should have proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced culinary environment.
