Tauwhare Primary School is a rural state primary school nestled at the foot of the beautiful Scotsman Valley, just

• minutes drive from Hamilton, Cambridge or Morrinsville.

Traditionally a farming area, with a large number of newly developed rural subdivisions changing the area and the mix of children at the school.

We are looking for a passionate and excellent classroom teacher with recent successful teaching experience in New Zealand primary schools who :

Loves and has had experience with teaching junior school children.

Is a self-motivated team player, who is caring, collaborative and highly organised with sound curriculum knowledge.

Strengths in literacy and mathematics are essential as is the ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, children and the whanau in our community.

Also the ability to create a rich learning environment based on positive classroom management.

Shows our school vision (Accomplished learners striving for success in tomorrow's world) and our values of resilience, respect and responsibility.

Builds connections with our, and other, preschools and develops supportive transition to school programmes.
