The Society of St Vincent de Paul is seeking an experienced and values-driven Retail Stores Manager to oversee the daily operations, staff, and volunteer teams across our network of Christchurch retail stores. Based primarily at our Papanui branch, this full‑time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community through high‑quality retail service and compassionate leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach and support Retail team and volunteers across multiple locations
• Ensure alignment with the Society’s values in all aspects of store operations
• Drive sales, meet budget targets and execute effective marketing and event management
• Maintain high standards of customer service and visual merchandising
• Manage stock control, pricing, inventory, and donor relationships
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, policies and procedures, risk management and HR
• Conduct staff performance appraisals, onboarding and training
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and report regularly on our Retail performance

A current full driver’s licence is desirable.
