As an Accounts Officer – Payables, you'll be an important part of the Finance team, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Your work will include entering and matching invoices to purchase orders, resolving discrepancies, preparing payment runs, reconciling transactions, and maintaining supplier records.
You'll also respond to queries from internal teams and external suppliers, assist with reconciliations and debtor entries, and provide general administrative support.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach are key in helping the organisation operate efficiently.
You'll have a solid foundation in accounts or administrative work and a keen eye for detail.
Your ability to prioritise and work to deadlines will ensure smooth processing of payments and accurate record-keeping.
We're looking for someone who brings :
Recent experience in an accounts or payables position
Data entry and reconciliation experience (desirable)
Sound communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A tertiary qualification in accounting (desirable)
