About the Role

This is an essential role in facilitating the smooth running of activities in the Hutt Dialysis Unit.

This position ensures daily unit activities to support patient care are met, including setting up dialysis machines, preparing supplies for patient treatment, restocking, cleaning equipment, and general support to the Dialysis Unit nursing team to meet service needs.

There is an identified task list.

Position available for a Health Care Assistant working 5 x 7 hour shifts a fortnight, working Monday - Sunday on a rostered and rotating basis.

There is no set shift pattern.

The dialysis team are dynamic, multi-cultural, hardworking and committed to the delivery of a high standard of patient care.

As a health care assistant, you will work alongside the registered nurses who all work across our 3 dialysis units, so you will enjoy working with different team members each shift.

Team members are well supported by senior nurses within the renal service.
