Dental Assistant

Manurewa Dental Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a full-time position based in our established dental practice in Manurewa, Auckland. You will be required to provide support to our clinicians to deliver high quality of care to our patients, with empathy and professionalism.

Commencing Mid January 2026

Hours of work (34.5 hours per week)

Monday 8.30am - 7.00pm

Tuesday / Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm

Friday 8.30am - 12.00pm

What you'll be doing

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, equipment, and work areas
• Perform front desk duties, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
• Provide excellent customer service to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
• Maintain inventory and order dental supplies as needed
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organisation of the practice
