Team Leader

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and lead a team to success? We’re looking for a Leading Hand to join our food production assembly team and support the Assembly Supervisor in ensuring smooth operations and meeting production targets.

About the Role

As a Leading Hand, you’ll play a key role in maintaining productivity, compliance, and team performance in a fast‑paced food production environment. You’ll lead by example, coach operators, and ensure that all processes run efficiently while meeting strict health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to achieve set targets.
• Maintain correct flow of materials, equipment, and information to avoid disruptions.
• Ensure productivity within your designated area meets objectives and targets.
• Coach and train operators according to SOPs and department standards.
• Conduct and participate in shift briefings.
• Maintain compliance with food health & safety, HACCP standards, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain accurate documentation.
• Oversee daily mechanical maintenance, cleaning, and preventative measures.
