Driver - Class 5

Job Description About the role We're looking for a safety-focused Driver (Class 5) to join WM New Zealand.

You'll operate company vehicles and equipment to deliver waste management services safely, efficiently, and sustainably, while keeping customers happy.

This is a dual role - drive the truck, and during downtime, step in as a Loader Operator to keep operations running smoothly.

From vehicle checks and waste collection to supporting our circular economy initiatives, no two days are the same!

Qualifications About you We're seeking a reliable and motivated driver who takes pride in safe, high-quality work.

You'll have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and a commitment to customer service and sustainability.

You'll bring : A valid Class 5 NZ Driver's Licence Proven heavy vehicle driving experience A solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance, and fatigue management Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills Mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out daily checks and maintenance Waste industry or side-lift vehicle experience would be an advantage Willingness to work flexibly in a dual role as a Driver and Loader Operator Additional Information How to Apply : To apply for this role click " I'm interested " Please note - we do not always work to fixed closing dates and may start considering applications as they are received so we encourage you to apply early.
