Since May 2019, Poolwerx Christchurch has been a trusted name in the local pool care scene, bringing Poolwerx to the South Island for the first time. What began as a small team has grown into a community of pool owners who now rely on us for expert service and advice across Canterbury and beyond.

We're looking for a friendly and proactive Retail & Administration Assistant to join our team for an immediate start.

This is a part-time fixed term contract working Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or someone looking for summer work.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers - both in person and over the phone. You'll take the time to understand their needs, build great relationships, and either connect them with the right team member or provide the right solution yourself.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Answering phone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
• Assisting customers with product information and sales
• Performing water testing for pools and spas, and recommending suitable treatments or products
• Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth store operations

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, sound computer knowledge, and a genuine desire to help customers. You'll need strong attention to detail and ability to interpret and advise customers on water test results (training provided).
