• We’re looking for an experienced
• Civil Project Engineer
• to join our team based in the
• Waikato
• . As a Civil Project Engineer, you will provide hands on management for specific operations, offering technical support to supervisors and driving successful project outcomes.In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting end-to-end planning, allocation of resources, and coordination of work for both internal and external clients. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all targets are not just met, but exceeded—covering project delivery, technical input, safety, quality, budgets, scheduling, and overall project outcomes.
• As a Civil Project Engineer, you will :
• Previous experience in a similar role, and ideally a relevant tertiary qualification (BE or NZDE)
• Must be a New Zealand resident or citizen.
• Take responsibility for forward planning, organising, ordering materials and subcontractors.
• Competence in project management tools and software used for planning, scheduling, and monitoring construction activities.
• Familiarity with local industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Passion and commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
