Part-Time Xero Implementation Accountant

My client is needing an experienced finance professional to support their national organisation in this new, part-time contract role which involves setting up financial systems in Xero, coordinating year-end financial reporting across the institutes, and advising on future finance function needs.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and manage their Xero chart of accounts.

Develop processes to collect, track, and reconcile financial data from regional groups.

Prepare annual accounts and liaise with the organisation's auditor and accountant.

Ensure timely completion and sign-off of audit and reporting requirements.

Provide recommendations on a potential ongoing internal finance role.

About You

You'll bring strong accounting or financial management experience (ideally with charities or member-based organisations), proficiency in Xero, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and flexibly.

Hours

Part-time, flexible - averaging around 6-25 hours per week between November
