About the Firm :

This highly renowned CA firm in central Dunedin has hit the ground running in Q4 and after a hugely successful year they have managed to take on new clients.

They are looking to manage this workload by taking on a highly motivated individual.

This role requires someone to deliver a high quality service to clients, so this will be key throughout the interview process.

The Role :

They are seeking a BAS Accountant at the Intermediate level, who is comfortable working with a set portfolio of clients across the commercial spectrum ranging from small private organisations to larger groups with multiple entities.

You will be responsible for preparing annual reports, financial statements and GST / Tax Returns.

They need someone who has the strong technical skills to work with minimal support and is comfortable getting through a high workload.

You will be liaising directly with clients so strong communication skills both verbal and written are also required.

Given the size of the firm, there will be numerous promotion opportunities within a short period of time for the successful candidate.

Hours :

Due to the nature of the work involved, our client is happy to consider someone on a hybrid (office vs work from home split) or Part-time basis.

They can be flexible on hours during the day and overall.

This is dependent on the successful applicant already having prior NZCA experience and being able to work independently.

You will also ideally be fully CA Qualified, or on your way to completing it.
