Guardian to hire deputy picture editor

Guardian Australia is recruiting for a deputy picture editor, to be based in Sydney on a 12-month contract. The person will be assigned to support the picture editor in tasks such as managing slideshows and photo essays, editing images, and design support for Guardian Australia Weekend, as well as Guardian USA and UK. Candidates must have an established record in professional photography and picture editing including Adobe programs. They should be capable of copywriting and work well in a team or under minimal supervision.
