Mo te turanga | About the role

Reporting to the Lead Tenancy Manager, the Tenancy Manager is responsible for providing tenancy services and management of a portfolio across a range of housing.

Key responsibilities of the Tenancy Manager role include :

• Manage a growing portfolio of properties including entry, exit and routine inspections.
• Manage repairs and maintenance.
• Manage invoice and rent arrears.
• Communicate with landlords and contractors to manage maintenance tasks.
• Provide accurate records and reports.
• Have an open, proactive attitude.
• Align with the values of Visionwest in all areas of work.
• Be efficient and accurate in keeping records.
• Work in alignment with a Kaupapa Maori framework.

We are open to someone with no previous experience, so long as they have a passion for helping the community and some understanding social housing.
