We are a supplier of premium fragrance chemicals and essential oils to perfumers worldwide. We are seeking a capable, organised, and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our Lower Hutt-based team, assisting customers with enquiries and orders across email, phone, and live chat. Our customers are mostly in the USA, Middle East and Europe. This is not a face-to-face role, it is a digital one.
About the role
You will :
Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone calls, and live chat with accuracy, professionalism, and warmth.
Provide order support, including tracking, invoice queries, and technical product information.
Use a range of tools including AI tools, Shopify, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 for communication and task management.
Assist with occasional administrative tasks to support the wider team, but work mostly alongside Paul and Jamie, the company founders.
About you
You have exceptional written and spoken English , with strong attention to detail.
You are confident using computers and learning new systems quickly – you must be a fast learner .
You enjoy problem-solving and communicating with a wide range of customers, many of whom are highly creative.
Experience in perfumery, aroma chemicals, or cosmetic raw materials would be a significant advantage, but is not essential. An interest, however, in perfumes is required. If you spend your time smelling the latest offerings at WORLD, Mecca and other fragrance stores, or a fragrance forum fanatic, you're the ideal candidate.
At least 3 years experience in a support role (including email, live chat, and phone support).
