Our institution is dedicated to providing outstanding, student‑centred learning experiences in studio environments, grounded in mātauranga Māori and incorporating innovative and emerging technologies.
AUT’s School of Art and Design maintains a strong reputation within the industry for producing outstanding graduates. The Fashion Design Major, offered within the Bachelor of Design program, adopts an integrated experiential approach in Fashion Design. This period marks an exciting phase of growth and transformation for the programme, which has expanded considerably with Fashion Design as one of our exciting Majors. Serving as a foundation for our highly esteemed Master of Design and PhD programmes, graduates from this major are highly regarded and sought after in the industry.
