Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ) is the national membership body representing physiotherapists across the motu. We exist to support and empower our members so they can deliver better health outcomes for the people of Aotearoa. With more than 4000 members and 200 volunteers leading and contributing to committees, branches, and Special Interest Groups, PNZ is a vibrant, member‑led organisation committed to advancing the profession.
We are now seeking a Head of Operations to help lead PNZ through its next phase of modernisation, sustainability, and growth.
About the role
The Head of Operations provides hands‑on operational oversight across PNZ’s corporate functions. You’ll be responsible for diversifying revenue, strengthening financial sustainability, and ensuring our systems, processes, and digital platforms enable PNZ to operate as a modern, member‑focused organisation.
A key priority will be driving innovation introducing smarter digital tools, simplifying processes, and improving the experience for members, volunteers, and partners. You’ll lead a newly formed team of five including HR, policy, risk, IT, governance support and office operations, while also taking a central role in major events such as the PNZ Conference, Business Symposium and AGM.
This role also contributes to PNZ’s commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our partnership with Tae Ora Tinana.
