About The Private Equity Advantage (TPEA)
TPEA is building an AI‑enabled, data‑driven platform helping New Zealand SMEs become Capital‑Fit.
Think : private equity discipline + AI automation .
This is a high‑conviction, founder‑led venture where execution quality determines speed and success. This is not a corporate environment — it is a true “builder’s dojo” .
The Role : Founder’s Hand
This is not a standard job.
You will be the founder’s right hand — translating strategy into action, building systems, organising operations, coordinating contractors, engaging early users, and constructing the internal machine that will scale TPEA.
You will have massive remit, real responsibility, and meaningful ownership.
What You’ll Do (Execution Focus)
- Product Build : Ship fast, and help design and deliver product experiments.
- Infrastructure : Build structures for reporting. Ensure data accuracy, structure, and repeatability.
- Operations & Internal Systems : Run founder–operator sprints; track and close loops. Build systems, documentation, and processes. Introduce automation (AI tools, low‑code, workflows).
- Go‑to‑Market & Engagement : Engage early SME customers and investor groups. Gather feedback and translate it into product actions. Support early GTM, partnerships, and onboarding.
This is a builder role. You will create, refine, and optimise constantly.
