Social Worker

Our East Tamaki clinic is looking for a committed and dedicated Social Worker who will work with our team of allied health staff to provide support and evidence-based care to our clients. The ideal candidate will be approachable and warm, aiding clients with challenges that impact their social determinants of health.

This is a part-time, permanent role and requires flexibility to travel across Auckland.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in addressing the needs identified in planning reports
• Ensure successful rehabilitation outcomes - addressing emergency needs
• Provide brief social work intervention when needed e.g. counselling when needed
• Ensure clients and their whānau are kept well informed of our support services and resources
