Fine Tours Group (FTG), is a tech-enabled multi-channel business delivering exceptional travel experiences in New Zealand and Australia.

Supported by sophisticated technology, FTG offers highly tailored and bespoke advice to its customers, ensuring they get the best travel experience possible. It is in a strong position given its successful history within the New Zealand tourism industry, the support of a growth oriented Board and shareholders, and a high performing leadership team.

Leading a team of 100 employees located in Wanaka and Queensland, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, executing growth strategies, and optimising the technology enhanced customer centric operating model.

The ideal person for this role will be a high energy, extremely proactive individual who cares deeply about their employees and customers. The CEO will oversee end-to-end business operations, developing and implementing growth initiatives, and most importantly, providing sound leadership to all FTG team members.

Qualifications

• senior leadership experience in a customer and market focused business
• demonstrated ability to build and execute a value creating growth strategy and operating plan
• a growth mindset with an ability to seek opportunities in new markets, new revenue streams, enhance current streams and new partnership opportunities
• exposure to a multi-channel, multi-jurisdiction environment with digital needs
• experience managing diverse stakeholders – shareholders, customers, suppliers, industry associations et al
• ability to concurrently operate in a highly strategic manner whilst also being hands‑on in driving business performance
• track record of building an inclusive, co‑operative and high‑performance team culture
• exposure to the travel and / or tourism sector would be highly regarded.
