About theRole

As anAdvanced Trainee in Nuclear Medicine, you'll participate in a comprehensivetwo-year programme accredited by the RACP and RANZCR Committee for JointTraining in Nuclear Medicine.

Year 1 : Based at ChristchurchHospital, working within a highly skilled team of Nuclear Medicinephysicians, dual-trained Radiologists, Technologists, Medical Physicists,and administrative staff.

Year 2 : Training will continueacross Auckland City Hospital and Mercy Radiology's Epsom, Greenlane, andMilford sites, offering diverse learning experiences and exposure tocutting-edge technologies.

Thisprogramme provides an exceptional platform for developing advanced specialistskills and launching your career in this rapidly evolving field.

The NuclearMedicine Service at Christchurch Hospital is a collaborative, multidisciplinaryteam dedicated to delivering high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care forthe Canterbury community.

Working closely with our national partners, we areproud to contribute to the advancement of Nuclear Medicine in Aotearoa.

About You

We areseeking motivated applicants who have completed one of the following :

Royal Australasian College ofPhysicians (RACP) Basic Physician Training (including written and clinicalexams), OR

Royal Australian and New ZealandCollege of Radiologists (RANZCR) Part 2 Examination

RACPapplicants must complete the two years of nuclear medicine training and a thirdyear of non-core training, in an allied internal medicine field.

Alreadycompleted years can be accredited, with college approval to obtain FRACP.
