Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a positive impact on young lives? Little Blessings Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join our team.

Role objectives :

  • Provide quality education and care for children, enabling their educational achievement.
  • Promote equitable learning outcomes, recognising the Treaty of Waitangi.
  • Respect the languages, heritages, and cultures of all children.
  • Contribute to a secure and accepting environment for children, parents, and staff.

Requirements :

  • Diploma of Teaching (ECE) or equivalent or working towards an ECE qualification.
  • Teacher registration.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Clean Police record.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a licensed early childhood centre in New Zealand is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of child development and early childhood theory and practice.
  • Strong communication, writing, and computer skills.
  • Ability to manage children’s behaviour positively and maintain confidentiality, trust, and respect.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to professional development.
