The role

Are you a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced trade environment? Do you have a passion for customer service and a drive to lead from the front? Plumbing World is on the lookout for a dedicated and driven Trade Sales Supervisor to join our team at our Levin branch. As our Trade Sales Supervisor you’ll play a key leadership role within the branch, overseeing the daily operations of our trade area and supporting our team to deliver exceptional service to our trade customers. You’ll also step into a leadership role in the absence of the Branch Manager and be heavily involved in stock deliveries, coaching staff, and ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything we do. This is a hands‑on position, especially during the busiest times of the day, such as the early morning trade rush.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient day‑to‑day running of the trade area.
• Lead from the front with exceptional customer service and sales ability.
• Assist the Branch Manager in supervising and developing the trade team.
• Prioritise and coordinate daily team schedules to ensure key projects are completed on time.
• Handle customer queries and provide tailored product and delivery solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trade clients and team members.
• Monitor and report stock issues to the Branch Inventory Controller.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within the branch.
