About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to lead business growth initiatives and strengthen our market presence in the region. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing new client relationships, identifying project opportunities, and managing end-to-end business development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new project and partnership opportunities in the Dunedin and wider Otago market.
• Build strong client and consultant networks within the construction sector.
• Prepare proposals, manage tenders, and lead commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with the design, estimating, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery transitions.
• Track market trends and competitors to inform business strategy.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales and growth targets.

About You

Proven background in business development or client relationship management within the construction industry.

Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.

Strong understanding of local building processes, players, and market dynamics.

Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work autonomously.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site or client meetings.
