Truck driver

Full‑time position – Class 4 Truck Driver / Operator – Te Awamutu

Evolve Ventures Limited is a New Zealand–owned and operated leader in environmental services, dedicated to sustainability and responsible waste management. We operate the Resource Recovery Centre in Te Awamutu and are contracted by the Waipā District Council to manage kerbside recycling across the district. Our purpose‑built Te Awamutu facility handles the sorting and processing of recyclable materials, with our head office based in Christchurch.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hook truck and excavator.
• Deliver recycling on a curtain‑sider truck.
• Help out if required to cover and drive the recycling kerbside collections and deliveries of recycling.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
